In 2007, the editors of Law Technology News asked the publication's more than 40,000 subscribers to select products and vendors that represent outstanding achievement in legal technology in 14 award categories. Ballots were solicited from the LTN subscriber audience of law firm partners and managing partners, legal administrators, MIS/IT directors and specialists, corporate counsel, litigation support specialists, librarians and other legal professionals. Winners were determined based on the most-mentioned product/company in each category.

In addition to the three 2008 LTN awards, CT Summation, an industry leader in litigation support and electronic data discovery software solutions, has received more than 36 legal industry technology and "reader's choice" awards since 1997.

In tandem with the awards, CT Summation this week announced several new enhancements to its litigation and case management software, including coupling the newest version of CT Summation Discovery Cracker (v5.1) with CT Summation Enterprise 2.5.4 to enhance quick and accurate data exchange. In addition, iBlaze 2.9's debut featured transcript color highlighting, further enhancing its already robust transcript management capabilities. These software version upgrades are designed to enhance workflows within the electronic data discovery process, provide more data control, and improve collaboration capabilities.
