CT Summation, a leader in litigation support and electronic data discovery solutions, today announces the release of CT Summation Discovery Cracker 5.1, Enterprise 2.5.4 and iBlaze 2.9. These software version upgrades are designed to enhance workflows within the electronic data discovery process, provide more data control, and improve collaboration capabilities. These releases continue the CT Summation's trend of providing ongoing enhancements and improvements of its award winning software applications for managing e-discovery materials.

Discovery Cracker 5.1 Couples with Enterprise 2.5.4

With the 5.1 release, CT Summation Discovery Cracker is tightly coupled with CT Summation Enterprise 2.5.4 to exchange data quickly and accurately. This tight coupling creates a workflow that seamlessly takes the litigation support process from the first steps of electronic discovery to document review, case and trial preparation.  Both products are certified by the EDRM.net Consortium and comply with the recently ratified XML schema definition, a new standard for import/export of documents and metadata used in electronic discovery and litigation support.

Additionally, the browser-based DC Detective module of Discovery Cracker 5.1 gives users of Enterprise 2.5.4 a "window" into the Discovery Cracker data, allowing users greater control over their projects. They can search the metadata, view native files and tag specific items for further processing. This creates a more reliable and faster workflow, which ultimately will save the end-user's organization money

The volume of e-discovery material is growing exponentially, making information management a formidable challenge. Reducing uploading mistakes is critical, as load file errors can mean valuable time spent verifying electronic discovery documents. Reducing the time required for this step is an important part of effective case management and a more efficient workflow. Additionally, delivering user-friendly interfaces and tools that allow easier material search and review continues to be a priority at CT Summation.

"The newest releases of CT Summation Discovery Cracker 5.1, Enterprise 2.5.4 and iBlaze 2.9 demonstrate our continued commitment to technological innovation not only in our own product line, but also to furthering the industry overall through technological advances and best practices," said Tom Rump, vice president of Litigation Solutions at Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services and general manager of CT Summation. "We are gratified that our clients continue to give us feedback that helps us anticipate industry needs and securely place CT Summation at the leading edge of litigation support and electronic data discovery solutions."

IBlaze 2.9 Improves Transcript Management and User Experience

CT Summation iBlaze 2.9 debuts transcript color highlighting, further enhancing its already robust transcript management capabilities. iBlaze 2.9's color highlighting tool allows users to:

  • Electronically color-code transcript text as it's reviewed;
  • Assign color highlights to designate an issue, category or a specific reviewer's notes.
  • Organize issues and key passages by filtering highlighted text by color to speed-up deposition analysis and summary after review.

CT Summation's commitment to listening to the customer has resulted in enhanced usability of the transcript manager as well as overhauling the iBlaze user interface with intuitive menus and toolbars to simplify the entire user experience.
