The explosion of documentary evidence brought on by compliance and electronic discovery obligations has made finding, organizing, analyzing and understanding case evidence more challenging than ever before. Because of these increased demands, some of the traditional tools and workflows legal professionals have relied upon are outdated, or are no longer up to the task. Today, there’s a solution that is. CT Summation, a Wolters Kluwer business and the leader in litigation support and eDiscovery solutions, announces CT Summation Enterprise. This new solution takes Summation’s market-leading litigation support software and incorporates Microsoft technology to provide fast and efficient large-scale litigation support throughout the whole enterprise.
CT Summation Enterprise combines the power of the Microsoft® SQL Server database engine with the familiar Summation interface so users can store, quickly search and review millions of documents per case. It bundles CT Summation iBlaze with CT Summation WebBlaze to provide access to case information via traditional LAN, Web browser and mobile-laptop implementations. CT Summation Enterprise allows all members of the legal team to collaborate –no matter where they are –as long as they have an Internet connection. And, the administrator has full control over who can access the information.
“Legal professionals are being asked to do more, and they need tools and solutions to help them keep up with their increasing demands,” said Peter Florian, CT Summation’s vice president of product marketing and eDiscovery. “By combining CT Summation’s market-leading litigation support software with Microsoft’s SQL Server, our customers now have a more robust solution that lets them review massive amounts of information in a collaborative environment from anywhere.”
With CT Summation iBlaze, users inside the traditional network firewall can collaborate on case evidence, and when needed, take away all or part of the case checked out on a laptop. With the CT Summation WebBlaze browser-based system, users can access case information with the Internet Explorer Web browser. CT Summation Enterprise gives users robust scalability –they can do more using larger databases with a high throughput of concurrent transactions.
CT Summation Enterprise is also supported by a new Professional Services group that offers enterprise-level systems support, consulting, and training services to new and existing CT Summation customers.
