CT Summation iBlaze Wins Law Technology News “Best Litigation Support Software” Award
February 08, 2006

The results of the third annual Law Technology News Awards are out: Readers have selected CT Summation iBlaze® as the “Best Litigation Support Software” of the year. CT Summation is a Wolters Kluwer business and the leader in litigation support and eDiscovery solutions.

CT Summation iBlaze helps users efficiently manage case information, such as transcripts and documents, with the benefits of full-text imaging/PDF support, OCR on-the-fly, electronic evidence support, and comprehensive production tools. CT Summation was a finalist in two other Law Technology News Awards categories: Litigation Support Service/Consultant and Product of the Year.

“It’s an honor when a CT Summation technology receives an award, but when it’s a reader- or user-selected accolade, that makes it even more of a privilege,” said Peter Florian, CT Summation’s vice president of product marketing and eDiscovery. “We strive to ensure our technology is meeting or exceeding our customers’ needs. To have that validated by LTN readers for the second year in a row is tremendous. We will continue providing customers with the technologies that help them work the way they want—and the tools with which they choose to do so.”

In 2005, the editors of Law Technology News asked the publication’s more than 40,000 subscribers to select products and vendors that represented outstanding achievement in legal technology in 11 award categories.  Ballots were solicited from LTN’s subscriber audience of law firm partners and managing partners, legal administrators, MIS/IT directors and specialists, corporate counsel, litigation support specialists, librarians and other legal professionals.  Winners were determined based on the most-mentioned product/company in each category.

“The role of technology continues to grow in virtually every area of the practice and business of law, from the court room to the back office. The winners of our third annual awards program, selected by readers who use and rely on these technology products and services, are leading the industry.  We congratulate them on this significant achievement,” said Kevin Vermeulen, publisher of Law Technology News.

CT Summation won two Law Technology Awards in 2005: Best Litigation Support Software (CT Summation®) and Product of the Year (CT Summation iBlaze). Its technology has received more than 25 awards and accolades since 2000, including the TechnoLawyer @Award for Favorite Litigation ASP (CT Summation CaseVault), the Law Office Computing Reader’s Choice Award for Transcript Management, the Law Office Computing Reader’s Choice Award for Litigation Support, the LawNet Technology Survey’s #1 Litigation tool, and the AmLaw Technology Survey’s #1 choice, among others.

Information on this year’s awards and winners will be featured in the March issue of Law Technology News and on the magazine’s Web site at www.lawtechnologynews.com.
