Overview Product Features Technical Specifications
Specifically designed to tackle the challenges of managing masses of data, CT Summation Enterprise gives users the power to scale mountains of evidence. Incorporating the top features of our industry-leading litigation software application, CT Summation iBlaze, with Web-based case management platform CT Summation WebBlaze and the power of Microsoft® SQL Server architecture, Enterprise delivers cutting-edge eDiscovery tools and capacity limited only by the requirements of the user.
Enterprise is the only SQL-based platform to offer fully integrated, streaming court reporter transcripts, to allow users to highlight, edit and analyze testimony in real time. Features include exhibit and evidence linking, native OCR, Bates stamping, a redaction toolkit and production set creation. Users can quickly and easily search millions of emails, batch-code tens of thousands of documents and create and edit multimedia production sets across multiple cases.
Enterprise combines portability and security with a comprehensive set of electronic evidence and production tools. Whether in the office, online, or on the road, users can carry an entire caseload on a laptop or securely access, analyze, edit and share case materials using nothing more than an Internet connection and a standard Web browser. Depositions, case pleadings, transcripts, casts of characters, chronologies of events and multimedia testimony and evidence can all be accessed, searched and edited instantaneously. Both administrator and litigator-friendly, Enterprise allows users to selectively share case information with members of a litigation team, experts, key witnesses and outside and/or opposing counsel. CT Summation Enterprise brings you all the features of CT Summation iBlaze and CT Summation WebBlaze, plus: - Powerful Production Tools — Designed with feedback from paralegals, CT Summation Enterprise Production Tools guide you through the stages of the production workflow process, allowing you to save your work at each step of the way. Advanced tracking features enable you to review the history of a production set, recall productions sets, and base new production sets off of an existing production set.
- Review Sets — Facilitate volume coding projects by creating and assigning discrete, isolated record groups for users to review and/or code.
- Robust Form Editor — The 32-bit Form Editor allows form designers to create common forms for use in both iBlaze and WebBlaze. Additionally, radio buttons, check boxes, and lookup lists can be created for point-and-click data entry.
- Greater Searching Capabilities — Use new search keywords to search for all of your eDiscovery documents, or to search for just electronic documents, e-mail messages, or attachments. Other new keywords allow you to search for HotFacts, images, and OCR documents. Moreover, you can now search OCR text and fielded data in the same search phrase.
- Global Replace — With Global Replace, you can quickly find and replace data in a case, table, or field, including lookup tables and the Note database. Search for a value and replace it with a value, replace an entire field with a value, or replace a field with the contents of another field. You can also find and replace special characters, such as multi-entry delimiters and carriage returns. The Undo capability allows users the option to undo changes within a set period of time in case of mistakes. Users have a user defined time period to verify changes before they are committed to the database.
- Retrieve All — Return all records to the active view with a single click after performing a search! A Retrieve All button has been added to the toolbar to make it easier to display all records after searching the Core Database, ocrBase, Chronology of Events, People table, Briefcases, or in Document Collections.
- Support for Dual Clients — CT Summation Enterprise now allows you to run Enterprise and CT Summation Blaze LG/iBlaze on the same client workstation.
- Tagging and Foldering — Document coding is now lighting fast and easy to do. Quickly tag or assign a code to each document during the review process. Foldering allows you to organization documents into groups of related items for improved document organization and searching.
- Performance Enhancements — Improved performance speeds you through your case work. CopyCase to Mobile is up to 40% faster when transferring data. With WebBlaze, display time for document images is reduced by up to 30%.
- Mobile (Portable) Capabilities — You can’t always be connected to the Internet – on planes, in opposing counsel’s office, and sometimes in the courtroom. You find yourself disconnected – copy case information to your laptop and take it with you. Then back in the office, we make it simple to merge back your changes.
- EDRM XML format.
Administrative features are greatly expanded to include the following benefits: - SQL Server Backend — The industry standard, enterprise-class database gives you the power to handle millions of documents per case. Administrators can also take advantage of SQL Server or third party tools for reporting and maintenance.
- Unified Licensing Manager (ULM) — The flexible licensing of CT Summation Enterprise allows administrators to manage a single pool of licenses for both iBlaze, WebBlaze and mobile systems. These licenses are dynamically assigned to users as they access either product. In addition, the ULM provides the infrastructure to enable system and case access monitoring and to terminate user sessions.
- Enhanced Setup and Security — Summation provides administrators with a single point of administration for both iBlaze and WebBlaze. By integrating with Active Directory, setting up groups and adding users to CT Summation Enterprise is easier than ever before. Plus, administrators can also manage the database columns that groups can access, ensuring the correct access to information and decreasing the likelihood of end-user error.
- Case Migration — The Case Migration wizard includes several enhancements that reduce the risk of error during migration. The wizard checks for unique Document IDs before migration and provides the option to automatically Blaze the Core Database and ocrBase if necessary. The wizard additionally allows users to replace non-supported control character in the ocrBase and creates a load file for multi-entry values that exceed 400 characters.

Testimonials
"Nothing else has the features and functionality of CT Summation. iBlaze has the ability to cull 100,000 documents to what is responsive to an issue. We have attorneys on the road taking depositions around the United States, for sometimes up to two months. They are able to take more then 50,000 documents with them and prepare for the next deposition using CT Summation."
